"Lefthandedness is connected to a lot of neurodevelopmental disorders," says Daniel Geschwind, a UCLA expert in neurobehavioral genetics. People with autism and schizophrenia are more likely to be lefthanded, he says. "But with that risk, there is also gain."
I'm wondering if that is the case with our kids/loved ones on the spectrum.
My oldest is a lefty all the way, the youngest does everything except throw with his left.
