hi here im new here and live in uk, i have son with aspergers syndrome and adhd, and have experienced alot with my son and been to hell and back, but learning from him all the time he's good lad, shame only i see that most of time others can be so ignorant to his disabilities its untrue, anyway ive had schooling issues, medication probs, running in front of cars selfharming,social issues, and all sorts of things and we have got through these, and maybe i may beable to help someone else.  NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR CHILD!!!!  I wont and never will.

Whenever my now 17 year old w/ AS speaks at conferences he always asks the professionals and parents in the audience to PLEASE NOT GIVE UP on these kids. So your post really caught my eye and touched my heart.
