Has anyone had their child on amantadine?

The psychiatrist told me that it should help my son's ability to be more flexible.
He is a bit more compliant but his thinking is still pretty rigid.

My son has been on Amantadine for about 4 months now.  It does seem to keep him from being anxious, confrontational, and depressed.  He seems to be able to transition from one thing to another better, as well.

Wow, it really seems to work for your kiddo a lot better than for mine.
How old is your son?
How much is he taking?
My son is 17
He is taking 300mg and the doctor said that we cannot go any higher.
My son has been complaining for a week and a half now about feeling funny.
We interpret this as feeling dizzy and weak.  I've got to put a call into the doctor just in case that it is a side effect of the drug.

I hope everything continues to go well for your son,
